Mass Intentions

Mass Intention

The church and our faith proclaim the Mass as our greatest prayer.  This sacrificial offering is the Paschal Mystery of His death and resurrection.  In the Paschal Mystery we call Mass, Christ offers Himself in order to allow our lives to join in His death and resurrection.  This act of sacrifice communicates His intention for unity and salvation.  It is here that the priest may offer this intention of Christ that each Mass communicates.

Intentions do not have to be just for the dead: they make beautiful gifts for any special occasion: birthday, anniversary, in thanksgiving for a prayer answered, etc. For example, offer an intention for someone who is struggling with a serious illness or other life trauma shows you want the Lord to support them in their need.

To request a Mass Intention, please email us at [email protected] with the following information:

  • Your name, email and phone number
  • Type of intention – i.e. Memorial, Healing, Anniversary, etc.
  • Person(s) the Mass Intention is for
  • Specific date and Mass time

Once your request is received, we will check availability and you will be contacted with confirmation or a suggested new date and/or time.

There is a requested donation of $15 for a Mass Intention.

[You may send your donation via a check to the Parish Office indicating "Mass Intention" in the check memo field or go to Online Giving and select Mass Intention from the Fund drop down menu.]
