Mission of
Deeds
–
Founded in 1993 by a member of St. Mary's Parish Family, Mission of Deeds is
a non-profit, volunteer organization providing assistance to those who are
beginning a new life after having been homeless. Clients include battered
women, their children, older people who have been abandoned, and countless
others who have lost their homes and possessions due to circumstances beyond
their control. MOD has only one full time employee, and relies on volunteers
for the work that is accomplished every day. MOD is looking for additional
volunteers, specifically people to work on the truck, picking up furniture
and donated goods for sorting and delivery to needy families. They also need
computer assistance for letter writing and data entry. Can you help? Call:
(781) 944-9797.
