The Month of Mary: Praying the Rosary

As we enter the month of Mary, let’s learn about the rosary and its connection to the Blessed Mother with the help of the book 10 Wonders of the Rosary.

Called "the New Testament on a string of beads," the Rosary is presented by famed Mariologist Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC, in all its wonder: leading armies into battle; defeating the enemies of Christ and His Church; and transforming hearts and minds in order to save societies and entire civilizations. After exploring the 10 Wonders of the Rosary, you'll never look at this timeless and powerful devotion the same way again.

In Fr. Calloway’s own words. “As you might guess, 10 Wonders of the Rosary has 10 chapters. Each chapter expounds on a particular wonder and contains four sections offering insights into the wonder:

  • a short story about the wonder,
  • an explanation of the wonder,
  • an example of the wonder in action, and
  • words of wonder from popes and saints.

At the end of the book, there is a bonus wonder about how praying the rosary makes reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Hopefully, you’ll agree that the book is short and sweet, just like the rosary itself. I pray that this book blesses your life.

The book may be purchased via Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Let’s meet on the Sundays of May from 2:00–3:00 via a Zoom conference. Please email LeiLanie D’Agostino at ldagostino@stmaryswinchester.org to be sent a link for these sessions. The first session will NOT use the book, but other sessions will.
