Our Immense Gratitude is Extended to Fr. Jerry Osterman

When Fr. Jerry took over as Administrator of St. Mary Parish Family in November of 2018, he knew the parish and its employees were in the midst of a very difficult time. With just two days of retirement under his belt, he accepted this assignment from Cardinal Sean to help shepherd our flock through some significant challenges. He did this freely and without reservation. As a parish and staff we have come to love his gentle nature, his self-deprecating humor, his thought provoking homilies and his full head of thick white hair! He has certainly touched many lives and we have been blessed to have him here at St. Mary.

As Fr. Jerry tenure here at St. Mary’s draws to a close, we welcome the Parish to join us for a collation following the 10:00 am Mass on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in the Gathering Room. Although Fr. Jerry will be with us through September 1, and will be con-celebrating next weekends masses with Fr. Hurley, this will be his last weekend preaching. Please feel free to stop by and say goodbye to such an endearing priest. If you can’t make it to the collation, please feel free to drop a card off or in the mail to the parish offices at 158 Washington St, Winchester, MA 02180.
